Tom Haber is the Quality Assurance Program Manager for Maverick Applied Science.
Tom has been involved in the Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) industry for over 25 years. His experience covers most, if not all aspects of non-metallic shop manufacturing, field manufacturing and inspection. Tom has developed and implemented shop and field quality assurance and quality control programs. He has supervised numerous field installations of large diameter stack liners, flue gas desulfurization (FGD) ductwork, piping, and tanks. Tom has also witness several hundred pressure tests and Acoustic Emission (AE) tests, along with performing hundreds of hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT). Tom is currently the Chairman of the American Welding Society's G1 Committee on the Joining of Plastics and Composites, the Chairman of the ASME NPPS NM.2 Fabrication and Examination Subgroup for FRP Pressure Piping and he is also an active member of the ASME RTP-1 Subcommittee on Materials and Quality Assurance.
