Pennsylvania Power & Light, PA – Design of 30 ft dia. chimney liner for a 600 ft tall chimney, including design of the chimney liner, finite element analysis verification, modal analysis and detailed design of chimney liner components.
Kentucky Utilities, KY – Design and supply of pipe supports for 16”-60” dia. FRP piping for an FGD absorber recycle system retrofit.
Dominion Generation, VA – Design of 29 ft dia. chimney liner for a 390 ft tall chimney, including design of the chimney liner, finite element analysis verification, modal analysis and design of support rings.
Alabama Power Company, AL – Engineering review of FRP chimney liner calculations for a 38 ft diameter chimney liner for a 675 ft tall chimney.
Georgia Power Company, GA – Developed an FRP quality assurance program for plant site and provided resident FRP inspection services to observe and document project compliance of field fabrication of large diameter vertically wound FRP shells for scrubbers and chimney liners.
Alabama Power Company, AL – Developed an FRP quality assurance program for plant site and provided resident FRP inspection services to observe and document project compliance of field fabrication of large diameter vertically wound FRP shells for scrubbers and chimney liners.
Tennessee Valley Authority, Widows Creek, AL – Design and supply of pipe supports for 10”-54” dia. FRP piping for an FGD absorber recycle system retrofit.
Progress Energy, Crystal River Power Complex, FL – Pipe stress analysis of an FRP cooling water ball circulation and collection system. Additional services include, evaluating existing support structures for new loads and design & supply of precision pipe supports.
Tennessee Valley Authority, Cumberland, TN – Engineering evaluation of existing structures for adequacy and design of new and modified pipe support structures. Design and supply of pipe supports for 36” dia. FRP piping for an FGD absorber recycle system retrofit.
JEA, Jacksonville, FL – Engineering design, including material specification, pipe stress analysis, design of pipe supports and supplementary steel and development of complete construction drawings for installation of the 4” to 18” diameter FRP River Water System.
Florida Power & Light, FL – Design of FRP piping and pipe supports for the Intake Structure Seawater Screen Wash System, 150 PSI.
Florida Power Corporation, FL – Design and site quality assurance during installation of Seawater Circulation and Distribution System for 36 cell forced cooling tower, 10” to 108” diameter FRP piping. O-Ring Gasketed joint system design for main distribution piping.
CHEMICAL PROCESS INDUSTRY
Chevron Phillips, TX – Provided failure investigation and remaining service life assessment of 30” dia. to 60” dia. cooling tower FRP distribution piping, recording conclusions and recommendations.
Clean Harbors, Houston, TX – Provide FRP duct system specification, design, including pipe stress analysis and construction drawings for a 72” dia. Wet ESP flume collection system, pipe supports included in scope of supply.
Pennzoil Products Company, PA – Provided engineering and field quality assurance during the installation of Wastewater Treatment System. Pressure piping from 16” to 24” diameter.
Eli Lilly and Company, IN – Engineering, detailed design of a dust and vapor collection duct system from 16” to 84” dia.
PULP & PAPER INDUSTRY
Buckeye Technologies – Developed specifications and quality assurance program for mill, including providing QA inspection services during relining of CLO2 Storage tanks.
Smurfit Stone Container Corporation, AL – Engineering and design for fabrication of a 66” dia. pressure pipe and supports for a effluent discharge application. The pipeline involves an installation with full burial and truck loading, areas of partial burial, ground water and (3) overhead creek crossings.
Alabama River Pulp Company/Alabama Pine Pulp Company – Provided comprehensive engineering for a Cluster Rule Project, including ClO2 scrubber and collection system design, detailed engineering, construction specification and drawings.
International Paper, VA – Engineering and detailed design of an FRP Exhaust Stack. The rectangular stack required engineering by Finite Element Analysis (FEA) methods to assure safe operation under thermal expansion and heavy wind loads.
