“We have built Maverick on the principle that, by definition, in order to be better, you must be different. Our difference lies in our ability and willingness to take on challenges others cannot or will not.”
– Jeff Eisenman
Welcome to Maverick, where engineers understand how to create composite materials solutions for your corrosive applications – and how to turn those solutions into safe, reliable systems to meet or exceed your needs.
Our full name is Maverick Applied Science, Inc. “Maverick” because we are a bit different from what you might expect. “Applied Science” because that’s what engineering is and that’s what we do – apply our fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) knowledge to the engineering problems you face in your business.
The Maverick difference is based on a very important value: integrity.
Of course you want to place your trust in the hands of a company that can plan and execute your FRP project to its highest level. And other areas of this website can assure you of our ability to do that.
But we believe that the way we do business is just as important as the business that we do. We believe it is our obligation to provide services with uncompromising safety and reliability for a fair and competitive price. As engineers, we bring you the finest in FRP science and technology. As fellow human beings, we give you our promise to do the right thing in the right way, every time.
Back in 1999, when Jeff Eisenman founded Maverick, FRP was still viewed with some skepticism. The problem was, not too many engineers knew enough about fiberglass reinforced plastic to use it properly.
So, as the need for corrosion resistant piping systems and equipment has grown, so has the demand for FRP expertise. Over the years, Maverick has built its international reputation on its FRP knowledge, dedication and attention to detail. And it’s how we can help you.
Our mission is to improve the performance of our clients by providing safe and reliable nonmetallic solutions to heavy industry. As the leading FRP engineering and inspection company in North America, we recognize our responsibility as a steward of the nonmetallic industry. To accomplish this, we will remain dedicated contributors to relevant industry codes and standards and a force for consistency and advancement in the industry. We are committed to the relentless pursuit of greater knowledge of nonmetallic materials and consistent performance. We believe this approach will fuel the sustained success of our company and will continue to increase the use of and confidence in nonmetallic systems.
